ABOUT THE BOOK

Welcome to Timmy's Chronicles of a Hidden World: A CF Warrior's Heart! It is the story of adventure and wonder, of faraway lands where a little boy named Timmy has a secret. It's a secret he will only tell other boys and girls who have cystic fibrosis. Using his magic red chalk, Timmy can draw a heart on any door and create a portal to other kids around the world who also have cystic fibrosis. There, Timmy answers their questions about CF...and teaches them the power of becoming a CF Warrior. Timmy learns that he is not only not alone, but others share the same thoughts, fears, and hopes as so many other kids with cystic fibrosis. Hold on tight as Timmy leaps from place to place on a quest to understanding the heart of a CF warrior.

Diary of a CF Kid is written for CF kids and parents. It is all of the lessons Tim learned throughout his life that he wishes he had when he was younger. Each diary entry is a character trait, such as gratitude, trust, self esteem, and perseverance, ready to make your child laugh, learn, and know that they aren't alone. Using historic figures such as Nelson Mandela, Helen Keller, and the Wright brothers, kids will gain a new appreciation for what being a CF Warrior means and how to conquer whatever challenge they face.
